SPID-SMS Center

IThe SPID-SMS Center has provided a safe space for children of sex workers (most often trafficking victims) for the past 25 years. This is the only centre in the GB Road red light district that provides 24-hour shelter, protection, education and nutrition to the vulnerable children in the area. Around 65 children are cared for in the SMS centre by dedicated staff, on a very limited budget. During the past two years, a group of expat women have conducted two weekly Art and Craft classes at the centre, where the children have displayed an amazing energy and creativity
